Pear & Venison Biscuits

Composition:
Oats, Organic Buckwheat Flour, Spelt Flour, Fresh Venison (15%), Raw Virgin Coconut Oil, Fresh Pear (4.5%), Pure Cane Molasses, Linseeds

We use Oats for a slow and consistent energy release. Oats are high in protein (good for general body function) and soluble fibres (helps keep the tummy working properly). We add Organic Buckwheat flour and Spelt flour. Buckwheat is actually a berry so gluten and grain free. It also has a low glycaemic value to help avoid blood sugar spikes. Spelt is a species of wheat that contains a different type of lower strength gluten than normal wheat. It’s high in protein and dietary fibre. Venison is a healthy meat as it is low in fat and cholesterol It is a good source of Vitamin B, iron, phosphorous and zinc which help to maintain energy levels without blood sugar spikes. We add fresh Pear for taste and to add further fibre (always good!) and vitamin A and C. We also use Pure Cane Molasses, Raw Virgin Coconut Oil and whole Linseeds. Pure Cane Molasses is not only a traditional Christmas flavour; it’s a natural sweetener with no refinement. It is full of vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin B6, Iron calcium, copper, magnesium & selenium. Coconut Oil adds essential fatty acids which could help your dog’s skin, coat and digestion. The Linseeds are added to provide omega-3 oils for skin and coat.
