Terms & Conditions

  1. By purchasing products from Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the terms and conditions set out below (the “Terms”) without modification. By purchasing products, you acknowledge that you are bound by the Terms.  If you do not wish to be bound by the Terms you should not place an order with us. No variation to these Terms shall be binding unless agreed in writing between you and an authorised Director of Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited.
  2. Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited has no involvement in the manufacture of treats and biscuits which we sell that do not bear our name and branding. We purchase these treats directly from the suppliers. Any issue you have with the treats will be passed directly to the supplier.
  3. Any issue you have relating to biscuits manufactured by Barney's Biscuit Boxes will be dealt with on a case by case basis and resolved as quickly as possible.
  4. All the treats, chews and biscuits sold by Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited contain ingredients that can have a beneficial effect on a dog’s heath. This does not guarantee that they will have an actual effect and cannot be used specifically to treat a certain aliment.
  5. All pricing information on the website is correct at time of going live. Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited reserve the right to change prices at any time.
  6. You will be contacted in the event of a price change between the time of your payment and Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited processing the order to be made aware of the price change.
  7. All prices listed are inclusive of VAT.
  8. You will receive an email to confirm your order with Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited. This email will also confirm the dog rescue you have chosen to receive the donation from your purchase. If you have purchased multiple products the multiple donations will be listed. 
  9. We accept payment by: MasterCard Credit, Debit MasterCard, MasterCard Business, MasterCard Premium Cards, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Business, Visa Business Debit, Visa Premium Cards, Visa Electron, Visa Electron International, Maestro and Solo.
  10. Barney's Biscuit Boxes uses Shopify Payments to take payment. No customer payment details are input onto our servers and Barney's Biscuit Boxes Limited never has access to customer payment details.
  11. By placing an order with Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited you are paying for your order before you receive your goods. Your payment will be taken at the time of purchase and your order will dispatched within 2-3 days via Royal Mail. 
  12. The design of Barney’s Biscuit Boxes packaging has been specifically created to meet the postal requirements of the Post Office and to reduce the possibility of breakages. Our packaging is cardboard based for recycling purposes, therefore is not waterproof. Our boxes will not fit through a letterbox, so it may be best to speak with your postal delivery employee about them knocking on your door or getting it delivered to a neighbour or place of work. Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited take no responsibility for delivery employees leaving your order in areas open to the elements.
  13. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you need to let us know as soon as possible via an email to barney@barneysbiscuitboxes.co.uk. You will need to notify us of the issue and then return your purchased items to Barney's Biscuit Boxes Limited, we will provide you an address to return the products. We will then send you a replacement order once we have received the original order.
  14. You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the day of the transaction, by notifying Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited via email barney@barneysbiscuitboxes.co.uk and quoting your order number. As no card details are recorded, we may request your payment details to process a refund.
  15. You have the statutory right to a 14 day cooling off period after your purchase has been delivered. If you change your mind about the items within this period you need to notify us by email at barney@barneysbiscuitboxes.co.uk and return the items to an address we will provide you within 7 working days for a refund. Your refund will be less the charity donation.
  16. Barney's Biscuit Boxes Limited are not responsible for the return of your purchase to us. You will have to pay for the return of your purchases in order to receive your refund. The products must be returned in the same condition as they were dispatched. If your return gets lost whilst on its way to us, you are still responsible and a refund will not be processed until we receive the goods.
  17. The details you provide will not be passed on to any other companies. 
  18. We use a third part payment gateway Shopify Payments. To ensure protection of your payment details, the transaction is carried out on their 128bit encryption secured servers and no credit card information is kept by Barney's Biscuit Boxes Limited.
  19. Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited will check with the Charities Commission and another other means necessary to ensure that all contributions/ donations go to legitimate animal rescues. If we come across an issue we will be in contact to ask for more details on your requested animal rescue centre.
  20. The allocation of all contributions will take place 2 to 3 times a year. To comply with consumer rights contributions can only be allocated 4 months after we have delivered your order. This will allow everyone to have gone through the statutory 7 day returns policy and any returns received during that time can be calculated.
  21. There are third party website links on our website which allows you to access the websites of other treat manufacturers. Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited do not accept any liability to the content, availability and nature of these websites. You use these links at your own risk.
  22. The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. The information is provided by Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited and while we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
  23. All Content included on our website, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited or other relevant third parties.  By continuing to use our website you acknowledge that such material is protected by International intellectual property and other laws.
  24. Barney’s Biscuit Boxes Limited accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of our website or any information contained therein. Users should be aware that they use our website and its content at their own risk.
  25. At this time we are unable to process orders from outside of the mainland of the United Kingdom.
